Heather represented us in the extremely complex purchase of a historic home in northeast NC. The house was an estate sale with multiple seller parties and significant legal entanglements. In addition, the house had major structural issues a that made it impossible to purchase under a conventional FHA, VA, or even private mortgage loan, such that we had to pursue the super complicated FHA 203K Home Renovation loan. It took nearly 9 months to achieve a fully ratified contract, then another 4 months of renovation plan development and intensive post-inspection negotiations to close. Heather literally spent hundreds of hours working the multi-phased negotiation, opening the house for inspectors, appraisers, and contractors, and updating our contracts and other paperwork as our closing date slipped again and again (not her fault).
